Ideas, and the intentions which psychically propel them, render world changing effects, even after they are long forgotten by their creators. Thus, the relevance of these creations of ours, goes well beyond the personal domain. Our intentions and thoughts exist as a currency of exchange, on both social and spiritual levels. Ideas are the building blocks of synchronicity and simultaneous invention, of cities and subtle glances. They know no boundaries or nation’s borders, and are ultimately beyond copyright or patent. Thoughts, like feelings, travel from mind to mind as lightning travels wires of copper. Some are flashy though of little use, rendering small significance. Others are of universal and undying scope, reappearing through the ages like a variety of creature that simply will not, and cannot, be eradicated. Ideas based on Truth Itself have such ultimate, lasting value. Thus, to hold truth as the highest ideal in ones’ life and mind, is to implicitly empower the thoughts which are based upon it. Truthful minds will ultimately prevail, because truth is itself undying. It is of eternal ideal, making no distinction between peoples, cultures or nations. It provides the most fertile ground for the fruits of social revolution among us all. Ideas based upon Truth are everlasting, surviving all changes, societies and even worlds.

Realization of truth and cosmic purpose
Our true purpose as human beings can accurately be called, "the aim of evolution", which is self knowledge and species advancement, or in other words, the expansion of consciousness. Existence has it's own cosmic purpose in the evolution of life, of which we are an inextricable part. Our purpose is to further advance this Cosmic Cause, through wise decision making and spiritual inspiration. Higher and higher love combined with progressive clarity, can and must become the new, standard human interaction toward that end. We CAN intentionally cultivate these qualities together.. It is this evolutionary purpose that is based upon the development of the consciousness we ARE, and which all life IS, that will save our species from the brink upon which it is now poised. Without sufficient realization of truth and Cosmic Purpose, our species will remain lost in it's own delusions about what life is all about. Until realizing this, we will remain fixated upon brand names, television sit-coms, fashion trends and gossip magazines, until the day of our collective extinction. Until we realize the inherent purpose of life, as opposed to the artificial, human-made purposes of corporate greed, we will always be moving toward entropy, war and insanity of all kinds. The purposes and laws of Nature will not be denied forever. If ever there was a test of our fitness to survive and evolve, this recognition is IT

CHIEF SEATTLE
tribes around Washington's Puget Sound, delivered what is considered to be one of the most beautiful and profound environmental statements ever made. The city of Seattle is named for the chief, whose speech was in response to a proposed treaty under which the Indians were persuaded to sell two million acres of land for $150,000." -- Buckminster Fuller in Critical Path.
Chief Seattle's Thoughts
How can you buy or sell the sky, the warmth of the land? The idea is strange to us.
If we do not own the freshness of the air and the sparkle of the water, how can you buy them?
Every part of this earth is sacred to my people. Every shining pine needle, every sandy shore, every mist in the dark woods, every clearing and humming insect is holy in the memory and experience of my people. The sap which courses through the trees carries the memories of the red man.
The white man's dead forget the country of their birth when they go to walk among the stars. Our dead never forget this beautiful earth, for it is the mother of the red man. We are part of the earth and it is part of us. The perfumed flowers are our sisters; the deer, the horse, the great eagle, these are our brothers. The rocky crests, the juices in the meadows, the body heat of the pony, and man --- all belong to the same family.
So, when the Great Chief in Washington sends word that he wishes to buy our land, he asks much of us. The Great Chief sends word he will reserve us a place so that we can live comfortably to ourselves. He will be our father and we will be his children.
So, we will consider your offer to buy our land. But it will not be easy. For this land is sacred to us. This shining water that moves in the streams and rivers is not just water but the blood of our ancestors. If we sell you the land, you must remember that it is sacred, and you must teach your children that it is sacred and that each ghostly reflection in the clear water of the lakes tells of events and memories in the life of my people. The water's murmur is the voice of my father's father.
The rivers are our brothers, they quench our thirst. The rivers carry our canoes, and feed our children. If we sell you our land, you must remember, and teach your children, that the rivers are our brothers and yours, and you must henceforth give the rivers the kindness you would give any brother.
We know that the white man does not understand our ways. One portion of land is the same to him as the next, for he is a stranger who comes in the night and takes from the land whatever he needs. The earth is not his brother, but his enemy, and when he has conquered it, he moves on. He leaves his father's grave behind, and he does not care. He kidnaps the earth from his children, and he does not care. His father's grave, and his children's birthright are forgotten. He treats his mother, the earth, and his brother, the sky, as things to be bought, plundered, sold like sheep or bright beads. His appetite will devour the earth and leave behind only a desert.
I do not know. Our ways are different than your ways. The sight of your cities pains the eyes of the red man. There is no quiet place in the white man's cities. No place to hear the unfurling of leaves in spring or the rustle of the insect's wings. The clatter only seems to insult the ears. And what is there to life if a man cannot hear the lonely cry of the whippoorwill or the arguments of the frogs around the pond at night? I am a red man and do not understand. The Indian prefers the soft sound of the wind darting over the face of a pond and the smell of the wind itself, cleaned by a midday rain, or scented with pinon pine.
The air is precious to the red man for all things share the same breath, the beast, the tree, the man, they all share the same breath. The white man does not seem to notice the air he breathes. Like a man dying for many days he is numb to the stench. But if we sell you our land, you must remember that the air is precious to us, that the air shares its spirit with all the life it supports.
The wind that gave our grandfather his first breath also receives his last sigh. And if we sell you our land, you must keep it apart and sacred as a place where even the white man can go to taste the wind that is sweetened by the meadow's flowers.
So we will consider your offer to buy our land. If we decide to accept, I will make one condition - the white man must treat the beasts of this land as his brothers.
I am a savage and do not understand any other way. I have seen a thousand rotting buffaloes on the prairie, left by the white man who shot them from a passing train. I am a savage and do not understand how the smoking iron horse can be made more important than the buffalo that we kill only to stay alive.
What is man without the beasts? If all the beasts were gone, man would die from a great loneliness of the spirit. For whatever happens to the beasts, soon happens to man. All things are connected.
You must teach your children that the ground beneath their feet is the ashes of our grandfathers. So that they will respect the land, tell your children that the earth is rich with the lives of our kin. Teach your children that we have taught our children that the earth is our mother. Whatever befalls the earth befalls the sons of earth. If men spit upon the ground, they spit upon themselves.
This we know; the earth does not belong to man; man belongs to the earth. This we know. All things are connected like the blood which unites one family. All things are connected.
Even the white man, whose God walks and talks with him as friend to friend, cannot be exempt from the common destiny. We may be brothers after all. We shall see. One thing we know which the white man may one day discover; our God is the same God.
You may think now that you own Him as you wish to own our land; but you cannot. He is the God of man, and His compassion is equal for the red man and the white. The earth is precious to Him, and to harm the earth is to heap contempt on its creator. The whites too shall pass; perhaps sooner than all other tribes. Contaminate your bed and you will one night suffocate in your own waste.
But in your perishing you will shine brightly fired by the strength of the God who brought you to this land and for some special purpose gave you dominion over this land and over the red man.
That destiny is a mystery to us, for we do not understand when the buffalo are all slaughtered, the wild horses are tamed, the secret corners of the forest heavy with the scent of many men and the view of the ripe hills blotted by talking wires.
Where is the thicket? Gone. Where is the eagle? Gone.
The end of living and the beginning of survival.

This list could go on endlessly; however, it is clear that the primal behavior is the easier of the two lists. It takes work and training to achieve the altruistic ideals and requires the use of the intellect to intervene. There is no question that these lists are familiar to all of us. We have been exposed to them since the second grade. Remarkably, most cultures around the planet have some form of education, no matter how primitive, with the ultimate goal of 'doing good unto others'. This similarity among such diverse peoples indicates a predilection of our species to evolve toward a group survival. It may be one of the reasons that Homo Sapien is here and other primate species are mostly extinct. In other words, it wasn't just language or larger brains that allowed us to proliferate. It could have been a trend toward altruistic behavior for the good of the whole as well.
The chemistry of this type of behavior is not too difficult to imagine. Remember that the capacity for intellect resides in the neocortex, and because those neuropathways are constantly being torn down and rebuilt, this is still an evolving part of the brain. That is where the learning process comes in. When the neocortex is exposed to a new learning situation, the perception is to react instinctively. Many do, and with negative results in many cases. It takes time and repeated exposure to a new thought process that requires choice. A choice based on easy response from age old primal instincts, or a choice based on humanitarian (altruistic) ideals formulated from the rule of law. Complex societies such as Homo Sapien need training imposed from the outside to suppress potentially harmful behaviors originating in the primal brain. This is where morals and ideals come into play. Without these altruistic choices, we would still be clubbing each other to death over water holes in East Africa. In a sense we still do. The art of warfare has reached a point of total genocide because of advances in technology, but the behavior is still the same. If we have clear choices and understand the nature of our behavior, there is a good chance that we can continue to evolve toward collective adaptation.
It must be remembered that the intellect is just a function of our overall intelligence. It is not a structure in the brain or a physical level recognizable on a CT scan. Though it resides in a structure called the neocortex, it is diffuse and nebulous. The intellect is more noticeable when it is not there than when it is. To see how this works, just add the mix of mind altering substances most commonly found in our society and observe the suppressing effect on the intellect followed by the exaggeration of primal instincts. Alcohol and drugs act on the recently evolved neocortex and seldom on the limbic system or R complex of the brain. With the intellect effectively minimized, primal behavior becomes the paramount factor in outward action. A trip to any bar in town will demonstrate this adequately. People are rowdy and inconsiderate, even violent. Hierarchial behavior is the most noticeable, with individuals trying to dominate others. Territorialism gains ever increasing potential as more alcohol is consumed. Behaviors range from aggression to depression in wild swings of mood in the context of challenge and satisfaction cycles. Self preservation and reproductive instincts dominate as morals and ethics are discarded in favor of ancient needs. It is interesting to note that intelligence is not affected when an individual is using drugs or alcohol. It may even be enhanced. It seems that the intellect along with conventional motor skills are the only neuropathways affected, and leave the individual behaving as a simple, but intelligent animal with primal challenge and satisfaction cycles.
What, if anything could we call an irregularity of the intellect. A clue has already been advanced by Gregory Fischer in which the intellect seems to have periodic lapses of transmission even in normal situations. It has been referred to as a synaptic impasse. Therefore we must conclude that any periodic loss of integrity of the intellect pathways, however temporary, could demonstrate consistent behaviors that are abnormal. According to Mr. Fischer, this could be called synaptic impasse syndrome. In other words, a collection of symptomatic primal behavior without the intervening effect of the intellectual pathways. This syndrome tends to explain a great deal of human and animal behavior.
Synaptic impasse syndrome, or SIS, may be applied to almost any circumstance from the simplest daily occurrence to the most beastly behavior in man's arsenal. Simple would include rudeness and inconsiderate behavior. Severe would include genocide, murder, rape and a host of other destructive abnormal behaviors. The key in all cases is SIS. The inability of the individual to employ the intellect, or the conscious choice not to. When a person is referred to as an 'animal', it usually means that this individual has committed some form of crime or behavior that is diametrically opposed to civilized behavior as the group interprets it. In other words, those who are using their intellect can recognize those who don't.
As we evolve toward collective adaptation and our society becomes more 'global' in nature, as it is in this era, we employ the intellect more often than at any time in our species history. The rule of law, as it influences the institutions of our species, reflects our drive toward intellectual control and away from primitive instinctual control of our behaviors. The group is guaranteed survival by civilized behavior of the individual. In other words, our species is capable of deflecting the hammer of exctinction by individual acts of altruism, and in doing so, help preserve the group survival as a whole.
In discussing the primal instincts and the use of intellect, it become necessary at this point to follow up with some basic principles. The next discussion will look at some conclusions and evaluate our role in the world of living organisms.

Finding our way home
In the dream we call life, the purpose is to answer the call to come home that emanates from our true being. Life is an experience that draws our attention outward, away from our true being. Paradoxically, it is only by embracing our life in this world that we will find our way home -- "back to the Father" to put it in religious terms.
We are born into this world with this question rooted in our psyche. The body consciousness, with its need for survival, definition and self-affirming experience, obscures the answer that is our birthright. Our actions in the world are aimed at answering this question but cannot succeed because that which calls from within us can only be answered by going within. It is the returning to the question again and again, with a growing despair that, paradoxically, leads to a final answer.

new 2nd black hole discovered in the milky way galaxy
Astronomers think they have found a rare if not unique black hole very near the center of the Milky Way. That would make two of the beasts in that part of the galaxy.
The discovery also adds weight to the idea that black holes come in three sizes, essentially small, medium and large.
Stellar black holes -- the remains of collapsed stars, are common. They typically harbor as much mass as a few suns. And for years, scientists have known there are supermassive black holes in many galaxies; one with the mass of more than three million suns anchors the Milky Way.
The newly detected object appears to be an intermediate mass black hole, packing about 1,300 solar masses.
Intermediate mass black holes ought to exist, some theorists say, because they should have been the building blocks of supermassive black holes. A few should be left scattered around any respectable galaxy. But attempts to discover them -- data suggest two others exist in our galaxy -- have so far proved inconclusive

Spirituality
Spirituality does not imply religion or religious ritual. It refers instead to the concerns of the spirit, of that which goes beyond the material world of atoms and molecules, and into the very laws of the universe. It refers also to the purpose of life in the further evolution into higher forms, where humanity can and must direct it?s energies toward self improvement through inner knowledge, as well as a knowingness of that which is called ?God? and ?Consciousness?. A spiritual life concerns itself with the working for higher causes than just selfishness. It focuses upon such qualities as love, clarity, truth, progressiveness, naturalness and living in accord with the designs of Nature and natural laws. Spiritual people are concerned with gaining greater wisdom in the knowing of reality, and then making effort to manifest that knowingness here in the physical world. When we do this together the fruits of our efforts are multiplied many-fold.

Dreams
Don't do anything whatsoever with the mind --
Abide in an authentic, natural state.
One's own mind, unwavering, is reality.
The key is to meditate like this without wavering;
Experience the Great [reality] beyond extremes.
In a pellucid ocean,
Bubbles arise and dissolve again.
Just so, thoughts are no different from ultimate reality.
So don't find fault; remain at ease.
Whatever arises, whatever occurs,
Don't grasp -- release it on the spot.
Appearances, sounds, and objects are one's own mind;
There's nothing except mind.
Mind is beyond the extremes of birth and death.
The nature of mind, awareness,
Uses the objects of the five senses, but
Does not wander from reality.
In the state of cosmic equilibrium
There is nothing to abandon or practice;
No meditation or post-meditation period.

Releasing Judgement
One of the things that is so important for us to realise as we become more enlightened, is that we have to let go of things like judgement, criticism, hurt ego and separation.
Knowing this, doesn't make it any easier. The greatest philosophers throughout the ages have emphasised the releasing of judgement as the way to greater freedom, and it is still being brought up as an issue. This means of course, releasing the judgement we have of both ourselves and others which amounts to criticism in any shape or form. It does not mean lack of discrimination in seeing a danger when it approaches, or in ignoring our inner voice. It means just that - releasing judgement or criticism. Until we learn to do this, we cannot find true freedom or enlightenment.

Do you know how sensitive you really are?
As a multi-dimensional Being
Do You Know How Sensitive You Really Are?
Within you is a nose sensing system that can "smell" emotions and that can identify motives such as sexual receptivity, antagonism and benevolence
Within your ears are receptors that identify and detect differences in pressure and electromagnetic frequencies
You have skin receptors that detect motion outside of the body, even when your body is asleep
Your subliminal sensory systems locate and identify pitch of sound, sense of heat across great distances, a sense of frequencies and waves...both energetic and mechanical
You have receptors that identify positive and negative charged particles at an atomic level and sense gravitational changes
You sense and respond to solar and lunar rhythms and when "tuned in" have the ability to predict coming Earth changes
If your Pineal gland is fully functional, it acts as a nonvisual photo-receptor and has the ability to connect with the Universal Mind and other Dimensions
Today there is No Justification to continue the Anti-Psychic Belief Systems
There is no Justification to Teach that we Only have Five Senses
And there is no Justification to continue to Suggest
That there are any difference between Sensory and Extra-Sensory Perceptions

sun stoms hitting earth now
A series of eruptions on the Sun have sparked colorful Northern Lights into middle-latitudes of the United States. A pair of blasts over the weekend will arrive Monday and Tuesday, producing more upper-atmosphere storminess.
On Nov. 7th this storm sparked Northern Lights as far south as Oklahoma, Utah and California in the United States," said Paal Brekke, the European Space Agency's Deputy Project Scientist for the sun-watching SOHO spacecraft. "More auroras are possible on Nov. 8th and 9th when a pair of coronal mass ejections (CMEs) are due to hit Earth's magnetic field."
Coronal mass ejections are billowing bubbles of hot gas typically associated with solar flares, which are explosions of light and other radiation. Both weekend storms were the result of eruptions near the large sunspot 696.
The Nov. 6 eruption was a medium-strength classified an M-7 solar flare. The Nov. 7 flare was an X-1. All X-class flares are major, with higher numbers used to not stronger events.
The first coronal mass ejection was captured in this view by SOHO (Solar and Heliospheric Observatory). The Sun's main disk is blocked out so the camera can view the otherwise hard-to-see eruption as it expands into space.
Forecasters with the Space Environment Center in Boulder, Colorado say skywatchers into middle latitudes may again see Northern Lights through Tuesday. The colorful sky lights are created when charged particles created by the space storms race toward Earth's poles and the planet's magnetic field lines, then excite molecules high in the atmosphere.

Freedom Rings
Im proud as hell to be one of those
57 million people that think we are doing the right thing helping Iraq
get rid of the terrorists insurgents.Once again ,America has been placed
as the shining city on the hill. Why else would france, europe, and people
from all over the world feel they should have the ability to influence
our elections? One reason, and it is this:America is more than a
country,it is an ideal where we (yes we,not you,not them,us) look at the
issues, debate them, and finally vote the winners in,and the losers out of
office.Thank god we dont cave to political pressure from eather the
right or the left,or from terrorists.I dont recall anyone in this group
trying to influence the austrailian elections?Or the british
elections. That is for their own constituates to decide.Tony Blair said
it all with his short indorsment for Bush today after the republican
win.The leaders of old europe must stop taking bribes and money and quit
sitting on their hands when it comes to giving up the terrorists and
getting on the side of right and justice for all. This wasnt a republican
win today, this was a win for the good guys, the ones who send their
troops to help our allies in times of need.Peace, hope, and freedom was
heard ringing around the world today, and I hope the democrates will
understand this someday.Kerry put up a good fight, but in the
end, bullshit will only get you so far!At least he didnt put the country
through a meaningless battle in the courts like Al Gore did!Kerry took
his loss like a man,and gave a gracious consession speech. And to the
millions of people (including bin laden)who thought they could influence
our elections,I politely flip the bird! Mudd out!

to change,or not to change
n the business of self-discovery, we often discover much we don't like about our personality. Studying the personality is the beginning of searching within for answers. Our initial studies reveal little about our potential divinity and much about habits learned from our parents, animal-like lusts and fears, greed, envy, pride, and an array of neuroses. We find all the illogical insanities we so easily see in our neighbors. A natural reaction is to repair these psychological defects.
man through spacetime The danger is in spending months and years changing behaviors that have little bearing upon our spiritual quest. We may waste vital years of our search, not searching, but sculpting the nuances of our personality to conform to standards whose origin we don't understand. Out of the fuzzy recesses of our societal mind come values and ethics whose validity and reality is as questionable as that of any fetish. Shawn Nevins
