Todays free stuff is Fractals

http://www.fignations.com/resources/home.html?page=/resources/frl.html Fractals are computer generated Art made by math computations.Fractals are another name for Mandelbrot sets.Being a Teacher, maybe you have heard of these and similar equations called julia sets?Funny you should ask about them,as I was going to post a link for free fractal programs you can download and try it yourself.Kids are especially interested in this stuff. In nature, scientists always thought the randomness of nature was totally random..Well,this didnt turn out to be the case after Benoit Mandelbrot figgured out a math formula for the randomness in nature. He did this in his sleep one night as mathmatitions could not get the root of a negative number. So he figgured out if he and everyone else assigned a letter for each number, and agreed on the numbers, they could finally use negative numbers in their computations.Doesnt sound like much, but this revelation is changing the way all computer programing will be done in the future,as well as how all electronics will be driven in the future. It takes along time to get from theory to the consumer goods table.Generations in fact.I'm sure you have seen these patterns before online, just didnt know they were fractals. http://fractalarts.com/ASF/Fractal_Links.html

I like the program Tierazon 1 but its old and hard to find..but it has a point and click feature that is nice when you dont understand z+z+z+z+z=c
